Beautiful pics. Those orange flowers (sorry, I'm not proficient in identifying the various flower species), look like little pinwheels that will just start spinning. ;)

I'm glad you're enjoying the flower series I've been posting. I find that the best lighting to take flower photos is overcast, the colors are more vibrant.

Several of you asked if the palm was taken in Mississippi. After looking closely, I realized that you are right. That one was in FL, I got it mixed up with the MS ones I have. Yes we do have them in Mississippi!
