For more Wordless Wednesday!
Happy Leap Day!
-
Another look at our old ugly friend the purple frog in honor of Leap Day.
I am in the process of shifting the focus of this blog to the wildlife of Mississippi. This will now be mostly a Wildlife/ Nature Photo and Story blog. As the past viewers will notice, I changed the name but not the address of the blog. It is still for the people in my eyes. I intend to write about the responsible viewing of wildlife and nature. I will mostly stick to wildlife that is native to Mississippi. Hope you enjoy!

Beautiful! Scenic!! I can spend hours here shooting, of course till my cells last!
How are things in the swamp? I kept looking for more gators. Pappy
It looks quiet and serene...maybe a storm on the horizon??
Hope you have a good day.
These are wonderful photos. Hope the time does not reflect a bad night for your little girl. Peace
Michael: The swamp is certainly a place to make some great captures.
very nice group of shots
Love the pictures-my favorite is the second one-so lonely looking.
Hope your Angel is feeling better.
I love the wild look of a swamp. Good shots.
It's so different from up north..very pretty..
"How high's the water Papa..." Those pics remind me of a Johnny Cash song.
Doing your "word fast" every Wednesday is an awesome idea. Just showing the pictures allows a broader scope for the imagination. Thanks for the post.
This is so unlike anything we would see in our neck of the woods. Way cool.
Great pictures. I'd sure hate to get lost in there!

stopping by to say howdy! :)
Boy does this look like home to me! I see many places just like this right around where I live.
Hope your daughter is doing better today!
We finally caught a small break in the heat for a brief period today... I had about two hours this morning of clouds and upper 80's temps instead of 90s / 100s. Unfortunately, the sun came back out and the temp went up 8 degrees in about 20 minutes. I think our heat advisory that was cancelled has been reissued now!
Stay cool and hydrated!
Very nice series... especially like the 2nd shot. Swamps are so cool and eerie.

Each pictures represents a poetic feeling of nature!

Sweet kisses...
Fabulous photos!!! Thanks for sharing them. My eldest nephew and his son have moved to Mississippi in the last year or so and i find it interesting to see something of that area. I'm not sue exactly where in Mississippi they are, I must admit, but there somewhere, lol.
What an interesting series for WW.
I am glad to have found a blog on Mississippi wildlife. I blog on south central Texas and coastal Texas areas and I don't see much on the gulf states regions. It's wonderful to have a blog about MS wildlife! Thanks!
