I am always impressed by people who can get such photos of butterflies before they fly away. They never sit still!

Have a nive day!

Michael: I really like the balance in the wings of this beautiful butterfly in the third photo. He was really showing off for you.

I have never seen a cutterfly with such beautiful colors. Maybe my camera and I will have to visit.

Lovely butterfly (and bird) photos here (I have difficulty capturing both)… and the loss of Olive Riley is sad indeed. I’ve read her posts off and on since I started blogging 8 months ago. She’ll be missed.
Hugs and blessings,

Handsome is the right word! What a beautiful creature, and set against those leaves is really deserving of a capture.

I love to watch for butterflies...they are hard to catch still, so it makes it more fun!! :) Great pics.

Great idea...wordless Wednesday. It's kind of like a "word fast." Not trying to go all day without speaking, but concentrating on limiting your words. Beautiful pictures by the way.

Nice. We do not see many butterflies here in our part of Alaska.

Wow how did you do that. A picture of my favourite animal. So hard to catch. Wonderful
