Greenwood Cemetary 2

I took these at a local cemetary that has several world famous wrtiers and artist buried here. Some of the pictures were taken at odd angles. I was playing around. Tell me what you think.
Also, my daughter won second place overall at the state level 4H Photography Contest yesterday. She was competing against several hundred other youths. I am trying to get another post ready to display her photos. I am so proud of my not so little girl!

I like those shapes and shadows. You have a way with pointing in the direction of something not noticed.
Congratulations to your "not so little "daughter. Can't wait to see her photos.

Michael: The pictures are very artistic. Tell us the famous people in the cemetary.

I can hardly wait to see the daughters work.

Very nice, Michael - now, that's not fair - if I got down in some of the positins you must have been in to take these, I'd never get back up! lol Congratulations to your and your daughter on her photography - I'm anxious to see it1 (Is this the daughter who rides? My potographer daughter was a big-time rider.)

Sorry folks, but the only one they will allow me to name is Eudora Welty. They have had problems with vandlizism and asked that I not mention others. E W is a known so they allowed me to put it here!

What a great thing for your daughter! Kudos!! Love the shadows from the fencing. It seems so peaceful when I stop over here. I'll pop back to see if your daughter's photos are up.

Congratulations on your daughter! That is really good! :) I would love to see her photos.

The cemetery is such a peaceful place and these photos just show it. I really like the first one. I would've never thought of taking a photo like that, now I have an idea.

I love the play of light on these ancient objects. That looks like a wonderful cemetery. Back in the day they were meant to be parks, too, so it's good you made the most of the artwork and beauty.

Thanks for your comment on my jury duty post. The experience left me feeling patriotic, to say the least.
