Keep up the good work on the photography. I have been shooting pictures most of my life and am now starting to branch out in my style. I used to focus on abstracts and patterns B/W, but now I am trying more people and landscapes, color. I still find myself looking for patterns and different angles with my subjects, but that is part of life I guess. I am still wrapping my head around DSLR's but that is just practice. I will be adding you to my photo site so I can keep watch of your photography.
Cheers

Clever photography! Thanks for your visit. Yes I am 74, in December I will be 75. No I don't mind: I have a lot to remember and to tell. And as long as I can travel from Holland to Australia to see my daughter, I am satisfied.

I will be 38 on dec. 1!

Great images of a white egret (?) taking off!
I love the various shades of blue-grey-green of the landscape, and the fire lilly's a brilliant accent. :-)

Is the river there an arm of the mighty Mississippi?

Great shots of a pretty big bird... Did you find any mistakes in my TT13 crime scene investigation post, Michael? :)

Thanks so much for your comment on my blog.

While it is good to strive for technical perfection, etc., I think the most important thing i is the ability to see the things about you in nature each day and to let the enjoyment of them help cancel out the negative experiences that one has.

It seems that some never learn that secret, but I feel that you have, Your blog reflects it and makes each visit to it an enjoyable experience. I made much the same comment to Fishing Guy the other day, and there are several other bloggers who exhibit the same appreciation of what they see in their everyday travels.

Very nice splash of color at that

Interesting; I just saw an egret flying the other day. We've got a heron rookery here, so they are quite evident. Thank for the nice comment!

Michael: Flying birds are so hard to capture. The firrst picture is very sharp.

"Louis" thank you for stopping by San Francisco Bay Daily Photo. No, that isn't smoke in that photo - it's fog. However last night and this morning we have a lot of smoke from the Big Sur fire hanging over the Bay, making it look like the Bay looked when covered by smoke from the Northern California fires a week-and-a-half ago.

Enjoyed the photo. The Lilly was a treat. Does his wings touch the water (2nd shot)? My big Sis would Yell don't do it Kitty. Reason She thinks I have an unusal sense of humor which some people don't get. Well I gotta do it "What happen to the baby in the first photo? oops he dropped it."
Kitty humor is often misunderstood just like a cats nature.
